In this role, you will teach American Heart Association (AHA) courses to healthcare professionals, first responders, and community members. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education, patient safety, and making a direct impact in their community while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule. Key Responsibilities Instruct AHA-certified courses in accordance with AHA guidelines and training site policies. Provide clear demonstrations and facilitate hands-on practice to ensure student competency. Evaluate student performance and issue certifications upon successful completion. Prepare the classroom by setting up training equipment and ensuring a professional, welcoming learning environment. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of manikins, AED trainers, other training materials, and office/classroom space. Accurately complete all required paperwork, student rosters, and electronic documentation. Stay current with AHA updates, science guidelines, and continuing education requirements. Represent the organization professionally while creating a positive, engaging learning experience. Qualifications Current AHA BLS Instructor certification (or past instructor experience) Recommended. Prior teaching, training, or healthcare experience are strongly preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching style to a variety of learners and skill levels. Highly organized, reliable, and detail oriented. Must have reliable transportation and consistent punctuality for scheduled classes. Physical Requirements Ability to demonstrate CPR skills, including chest compressions on the floor. Ability to lift, carry, and set up training equipment (25-40 lbs). Schedule & Compensation Part-time position with 12-25 hours per week. (Includes Saturday shifts).

Starting pay:
