Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol First Aid in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns, report observations, and collaborate with site personnel and the community. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, pedestrian access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned locations, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with transit personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
