Manager- HIM Shift :

Full-Time Days/ Partially Remote. Some days will require in person availability. Position is NOT 100% remote

Responsibilities This professional management position will plan, organize, implement, actuate and control all functions of the HIM departments as well as be the resource and support person for the hospital and medical staff in regard to health information. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory agency and State Health Department standards and regulations, and confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications Education:

B.S. in Health Information Management, or Associates degree in HIM.

Licensure/Certification:

Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).

Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years hospital health information experience, two (2) years of supervisory experience. Must have been involved in a State Department of Health licensure survey.
