The Director of HIM promotes viability of the healthcare organization by effectively managing all aspects of the health information management operations. The Director partners with many aspects of the organization to create a all-inclusive and unified team throughout the healthcare system and it's affiliates. Oversight and maintaining of HIM functions across multiple facilities. Develops and deploys health information management systems as part of the integrated health network's overall information plan. Documents and enforces the integrated health network's health information management policies and procedures. Forecasts the integrated health network's future technical and information needs. Supports and facilitates clinical, administrative, and external data use functions; monitors local and national trends in healthcare delivery.
