Job Shift Night Category Health Care Apply Description Job Summary:
Assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN to include checking vital signs and blood glucose levels, assisting with grooming activities including bathing, hair washing and brushing. Change and clean patients with incontinence garments and bedpans. Assist patients walking, getting out of bed, changing clothing, and eating. Transport patients to other areas of the hospital for testing or procedure(s). Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences. Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful graduation and certification from accredited patient care assistant program or certified nursing assistant program required. Must be BLS certified.Experience:
Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of basic patient care methods, procedures and techniques required.Additional Skills/Abilities:
