EVS Technician- ER:

This position is based within Jefferson Regional Emergency DepartmentIn this unique setting, daily interactions with a diverse clientele, including hospital staff, physicians, and visitors, are expected
Job Summary:
EVS Tech in the ER is responsible for the basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility. This position is also responsible for removal of a regular wasted and medical waste alone with boxes and the disposal of equipment and furniture.
Environmental Technician Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferredPrevious experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning role preferred.

Knowledge of hospital infection control procedures preferred.

Must be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and department.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
