In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance, monitor health status, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring specialized memory or hospice care. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a nurturing community where residents feel valued and supported every day. Caregivers starting wage is $18/hour, Med Techs starting wage is $20/hour. Duties Assist residents with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, ensuring dignity and respect. Monitor vital signs and observe changes in residents' health conditions, promptly reporting findings to nursing staff. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records with discretion. Perform manual handling tasks safely during resident transfers and heavy lifting activities in accordance with safety standards. Document medical procedures, resident progress notes, and incident reports meticulously using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems. Engage in caregiving activities that promote physical activity, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being within a senior living or community care setting. Requirements State of Arizona Caregiver Certificate and Fingerprint Clearance Card required Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments with elderly or disabled populations. Certification in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
