Overview At The League of Doulas & NCS, we're looking to partner with the very best Postpartum Doulas and NCS in the Bay Area. We're currently servicing Silicon Valley, but accepting applications from all qualified candidates. We will provide a steady stream of Clients, while you provide compassionate, evidence-based support to new families during the critical postpartum period. In this role, you will empower parents with practical guidance on newborn care, maternal recovery, and family adjustment, fostering confidence and well-being. Your expertise will help create a nurturing environment that promotes healthy postpartum recovery and strengthens family bonds. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families during one of their most transformative times. Duties Offer personalized postpartum support to families, including assistance with newborn feeding, sleep routines, and maternal self-care strategies Educate parents on infant development, safety practices, and health monitoring to promote optimal growth and well-being Assist with physical assessments of mother and baby, including vital signs, weight checks, and basic physical examinations Provide guidance on breastfeeding techniques, pumping, and lactation support while respecting individual family choices Support family planning discussions and provide education on reproductive health topics as needed Maintain accurate medical documentation and update electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed and updated This role is ideal for motivated healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional postpartum care.
