Overview Join our dynamic transportation team as a Non-Emergency Medical Technician (NEMT) Dispatcher, where your organizational skills and communication expertise will be vital in coordinating safe and efficient transport services for patients requiring non-emergency medical care. In this role, you will manage scheduling, dispatching, and communication processes to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, all while maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. This position offers an energetic environment where your problem-solving abilities and attention to detail will directly impact patient satisfaction and operational success. Duties Coordinate and dispatch non-emergency medical transportation requests using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as AngelTrack Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls efficiently, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients, healthcare providers, and drivers. Maintain accurate data entry of trip details, patient information, and logistical data within logistics platforms. Communicate effectively with internal teams to facilitate smooth operations across fleet management, vehicle dispatching, and road transportation activities. Track and analyze transportation metrics to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and enhance overall service quality. Requirements EMT-B Certification or EMD Proven experience with transportation management systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone call management and phone etiquette. Familiarity with Orange County and Los Angeles area. Proficiency with data keeping tools such as Google Workspace/Drive/Docs. Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professional internal communication standards.
