ED Tech - Emergency Department Casual / Per diem | 12-Hour Varied Shift Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will support emergency department or urgent care by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed. Under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions. You will perform assessment of vital signs, thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, application of simple dressings and splints, stool and urine collection. You may transport patients and/or provide coverage for the unit secretary.
