Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized care plans for clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols, including medication management and documentation in electronic health records (EHR). Monitor vital signs and physical health indicators to ensure client safety during treatment sessions. Implement behavior intervention strategies, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Utilize crisis management and de-escalation techniques to effectively respond to behavioral emergencies or agitation. Maintain detailed medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safeguarding patient confidentiality. Collect data on client progress, behavioral responses, and treatment outcomes for ongoing evaluation and reporting. Requirements Valid registration as a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) or equivalent certification. Experience working with children, youth, or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder support. Knowledge of mental health and behavioral care principles, including PTSD care, crisis intervention, and behavior management. Proficiency in medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms. Strong communication skills for client interaction, social work responsibilities, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to perform first aid and CPR certification; ongoing training in crisis intervention techniques preferred. Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
