you walk the production floor, greet crew leads, and open the daily huddle with targets for safety, quality, and throughput. By mid-morning, you're reviewing dashboards—tracking yield, downtime, and on-time shipments—then translating those numbers into action plans. After lunch, you're meeting with EHS, HR, Maintenance, Logistics, and QA to align priorities, unblock resources, and verify follow-ups are complete. You close the day validating budget performance, refining policies, and ensuring our operations meet or exceed all applicable regulations. What you will lead Own end-to-end site operations for TPG-Los Angeles, driving efficiency across manufacturing, distribution, maintenance, quality, and safety. Build and implement strategies, policies, and procedures that strengthen our operating system and support growth. Establish KPI frameworks, analyze performance, set targets, and present results and recommendations to stakeholders, including executive leadership. Develop high-performing teams through clear expectations, regular feedback, and robust coaching and development plans. Lead budgeting, P&L stewardship, and cost management; interpret financials to make data-driven decisions. Advance our brand and business by identifying and validating new opportunities. Translate leadership decisions into sustained results through rigorous follow-up, verification, and corrective actions. Partner cross-functionally with EHS, HR, Maintenance, Logistics, and other support groups. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Experience 3+ years in manufacturing operations management leading people, product, resources, budgets, change, and quality. Industrial manufacturing background; construction/building materials experience preferred. Commercial acumen and experience influencing up to C-level, both in working sessions and as a representative. Proven success leading large, multi-layered operations teams with clear structure and effective delegation through leaders. Track record of fostering a culture of ownership over quality—setting standards, enforcing accountability, and proactively resolving issues. Skills Expertise across operations, sales, and project management. Lead-by-example leadership with outstanding written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences. Budgeting and financial leadership, including operating budgets and P&L performance; cost control and analytic decision-making. Highly organized and disciplined; able to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and ensure consistent follow-through. Full life-cycle delivery management for products/projects. Strong work ethic, reliability, ownership mindset, and ability to model the standard. Collaborative interpersonal skills. Detail orientation that safeguards quality, safety, financial performance, and customer trust. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Visio, or similar tools.
