We provide advanced body composition, metabolic, cardiovascular, and longevity testing—including DXA Body Composition Scans, VO₂ Max, Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR), and blood biomarker testing—to help people better understand and optimize their health through science-backed insights. We're looking for an energetic, personable, detail-oriented Health Technician to join our Denver studio. This role is focused on delivering high-quality health assessments while providing an exceptional experience for every client. No prior experience with DXA, VO₂ Max, or RMR testing is required—we provide comprehensive training. Position Overview As a Health Technician, you will work directly with clients to perform advanced health and fitness assessments using industry-leading technology. You'll be responsible for preparing clients and equipment, following testing protocols, accurately collecting and documenting results, and ensuring every client feels comfortable and informed throughout the process. Weekend availability is required for this position. Key ResponsibilitiesHealth Assessments Perform DXA Body Composition Scans following established protocols. Conduct VO₂ Max fitness assessments . Perform Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) testing . Prepare specimens for laboratory processing when required. Accurately record and document client information and test results. Follow all testing, safety, and equipment protocols. Properly prepare and calibrate testing equipment. Explain testing procedures to clients before and during assessments. Monitor clients throughout testing and ensure they have a safe and comfortable experience. Maintain accurate records and protect client confidentiality. Client Experience Welcome clients and provide a professional, friendly experience from arrival through completion of their testing. Build rapport with clients and make them feel comfortable during assessments. Clearly explain what clients should expect before, during, and after each test. Answer basic questions about testing procedures and direct clinical or medical questions to the appropriate professional when necessary. Help clients understand their assessment results and the information provided in their reports, within the scope of the role and training. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional testing environment. Encourage clients to return for follow-up testing and continued health tracking. Studio Operations Assist with opening and closing the studio as scheduled. Prepare testing rooms and equipment for daily appointments. Ensure equipment and supplies are clean, organized, and ready for use. Follow established cleaning, safety, and quality-control procedures. Manage appointment flow and ensure clients move efficiently through their scheduled assessments. Assist with scheduling, check-in, payments, and other front-desk tasks when needed. Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of testing supplies. Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or operational concerns to management. Team & Professional Development Complete DexaFit training and become proficient in all required testing protocols. Stay current with DexaFit procedures, technology, and service offerings. Work collaboratively with the studio team to provide a consistent client experience. Take feedback well and continuously improve technical and customer-service skills. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations. QualificationsRequired Excellent customer service and communication skills. Comfortable working directly with clients. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately. Comfortable learning new technology, equipment, and software. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player. Ability to stand, move around the studio, and assist clients throughout the day. Availability to work weekends is required. Preferred Background or education in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, or a related field . Experience in healthcare, fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or customer service. Experience working with diagnostic, health, or fitness testing equipment. CPR/BLS certification. Experience using medical, fitness, scheduling, CRM, or POS software. Relevant education or experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right candidate on DexaFit's testing protocols and equipment.
