Responsibilities Assist in triage and patient assessment processes to prioritize urgent care needs accurately. Coordinate communication between emergency responders, hospitals—including Level I Trauma Centers and Level II trauma centers—and other healthcare facilities. Requirements EMT experience/knowledge with a strong foundation in emergency medicine practices. Experience working within hospital settings or emergency rooms is highly desirable. Computer based knowledge and comfort, typing, data-entry, phone etiquette, teamwork Excellent communication skills combined with a thorough knowledge of medical terminology essential for effective teamwork and documentation.
