A service organization in GA is seeking to add a compassionate and hardworking Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to its Workplace Health & Safety team. Occupational Health Responsibilities:
Deliver first aid care and refer employees to external medical providers as needed Support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs Maintain accurate records of care and submit end-of-shift reports Provide coaching on at-risk work behaviors and ergonomic practices Attend safety committee and case management meetings Conduct random saliva drug testing Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean treatment area Participate in CPR, First Aid, and AED certification training sessions Respond to on-site emergencies and provide critical care Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECC provider One of the following: Valid EMT or Paramedic Certification (State or NREMT) Minimum 6 months of recent U.S. military medical experience (e.g., Combat Medic, Corpsman) Active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or state equivalent) Willingness to obtain adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification from AHA or ARC within 3 weeks of start date
