Job Description
Trusted Health is hiring a Medical Surgical Nurse to deliver high-quality, tech-enabled bedside care on a fast-paced med-surg unit. You'll assess, plan, and coordinate care for diverse adult patients, administer medications, monitor complex conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital protocols Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and care teams to coordinate safe, high-quality care Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, post-discharge care, and self-management Document care accurately in the electronic health record and maintain regulatory and safety standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and use data and technology tools to enhance patient outcomes Required Skills Medical-surgical nursing Patient assessment Medication administration Electronic health records (EHR) IV therapy and venipuncture Telemetry monitoring Care planning and coordination Wound care Patient and family education Infection control
