Updated 08/24/2026 Job Description Job Summary Overview Job Summary The Structures Technician is responsible for executing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and modifications on sheet metal and composite components of company-operated aircraft. This position also oversees the corrosion control program for the BHH fleet and requires regular travel to various company maintenance locations to support operational needs. Responsibilities Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft structures in accordance with approved or accepted maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations Perform sheet metal and composite repairs on airframe and structural components Interpret and follow aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications. Perform aircraft modifications in accordance with Service Bulletins and STC information. Identify all needed parts, tools and supplies for non-routine discrepancy findings Ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals. Maintain workshop and work area in a clean and professional manner to include the ordering and stocking of workshop supplies. Perform periodic corrosion control inspections, cleaning and repair on all BHH aircraft. Travel to all BHH bases as required. Other Duties as assigned. Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 40 Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Air Methods' employment practices and policies. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience performing aircraft repair/modification of sheet metal and composite structures using approved data. Skills Effectively demonstrates ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams Efficient in the use of electronic or paper-based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information Capability to read and understand various documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, AD's, etc. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment Proven ability to be a team player with a professional attitude Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco) Strong communication skills Aptitude to apply creativity and problem-solving skills in composite and sheet metal work Desire to be part of a team Computer Skills Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook RAMCO experience preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations FAA Airframe license preferred but not requiredNote:
