Some weekend availability is required, but we try to staff fairly so nobody is stuck working all weekend, every weekend. Starting wage is non-negotiable, however we do receive bonus pay based off house consensus. Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Support patients with specialized care needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, or Alzheimer's and dementia care. Perform manual handling tasks safely during patient transfers or heavy lifting activities; utilize proper techniques to prevent injury. Maintain detailed medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner; ensure accuracy and confidentiality of medical records. Respond promptly to emergency situations by applying first aid or basic life support (BLS) procedures such as CPR; escalate incidents as necessary. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care tailored to individual needs. Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Valid certification in CPR and basic life support (BLS); additional certifications like first aid are a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA and state-specific laws. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks required for patient mobility assistance. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; experience in medical documentation is advantageous. Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities; compassionate attitude toward patients of all ages.
