Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various medical settings, including hospitals and medical offices. This position requires a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy, as well as hands-on experience in acute care environments. The Medical Technician will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
  • Assist in catheter care and other medical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures within the medical facility.
  • Support patients emotionally and physically, fostering a compassionate environment conducive to healing.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills. Experience
  • Previous experience in a caregiving role or acute care setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures, anatomy, and physiology is essential for success in this position.
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and catheter care techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members are crucial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
