At Merrimack Health , we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $17.38 to $26.07 hourly, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth. Training Available for the Right Candidate! Job Summary The Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) administers basic patient care in the Emergency Department under the direction of medical staff and Registered Nurses. The ETT demonstrates competent responsiveness to frequent critical situations and deals effectively with patients, families and co-workers. Duties and Responsibilities Obtaining and documenting vital signs and EKGs Utilizing and providing patient instruction for splints and other orthopedic equipment Responding to codes, trauma stats and trauma alerts Transporting patients throughout the hospital Collecting and transporting lab specimens, and other ancillary duties within the Emergency Department. Required AHA Basic Life Support certification is required or to be completed during orientation.
