- 12:30pm-6:30pm
- Monday-Friday with weekends as needed The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated, organized, team player that has a true passion and love for caring for animals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reliable attendance and timeliness are essential Weekend availabilityREQUIRED
Ability to multi-task Ability to observe animal appearance and behavior (training provided) Ability to clean and maintain kennels, cages, and runs Perform general cleaning in boarding and day play areas Wash and sterilize food and water bowls Strong communication and client service skills Ability to work with others in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner Will be required to walk or stand for long periods of time; will use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; will reach with hands and arms Work occurs at, inside, and outside venues, so ability to layer up or down and deal with the seasonal weather is imperative. Exposure can be reduced during extreme weather Ability to handle, manage and restrain animals using appropriate procedures (training provided) Frequently lift dogs weighing up to 50 lbs.
