Job Description
Patient Care Technician ( PC T)
- Float Pool | Western Massachusetts | Baystate Health Full-Time & Part-Time | Day & Night Shifts Position Overview Baystate Health is launching the Baystate Health Staffing Optimization Team (BHSOT), a new Patient Care Technician ( PC T) float pool designed to provide experienced patient care and behavioral health support staff with greater flexibility while helping meet patient care and staffing needs across Western Massachusetts.
Designated areas may include:
Emergency Department Medical/Surgical Pediatric and Adolescent Services Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Other designated patient care area BHSOT positions are structured around defined assignments or clinical groupings. PC Ts must be able to work in all areas included within their assigned grouping. Minimum Qualifications The ideal Float Pool PCT is an experienced clinical support professional who is experienced with direct patient care and who can adapt to different care environments.Required:
High School Diploma or GED. Relevant clinical or patient care experience consistent- At least 24 months .
Education:
GED or HiSET (Required)Certifications:
Basic Life Support- American Heart Association, Certified Nurse Aide

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees. Minimum- Midpoint
