D. Cushing Schools This is a part-time position at 5.5 hours per day Job Goal(s): Under the direct supervision to free certified professional employees from non-professional duties. This position may cover recess & lunch breaks. They may operate as a crossing guard between schools and will support the secretary and other staff with daily operations of each school. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certifications Maine DOE Ed Tech I Certification Prior experience working with children preferred Performance Responsibilities
  • Monitors students in non-academic settings.
Monitors students while they work but does not teach. Relates any problems or special information about students to supervisor. Works the length of work year and workday as determined for each position. May share position with another Elementary Duty Monitor. Substitutes for other staff only in an emergency. Performs clerical duties as assigned by the office of the principal. Participates in in-service training programs, as assigned. Carries out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by building principal or their designee. Working Schedule 179 days
