Job Description

We are currently seeking a fire extinguisher and emergency lighting technician to join our team in the Rochester or Minneapolis / metro territory. We are looking for an individual who is professional and self-motivated with an understanding of scheduling and time management . Normal hours include a 40 hour work week, day shifts, with some days that occasionally include early mornings and/or evenings. The successful applicant will receive on the job training.
DAILY WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
Our technicians work out of a company provided work truck and travel to customer locations to perform servicing of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and first aid cabinet restocking. 1. Perform fire extinguisher servicing and recharging 2. Perform emergency lighting servicing 3. Stock and refill first-aid cabinets 4. Keep work truck organized with proper inventory 5. Strive for additional sales and service opportunities with current and new clients 6. Work well with other employees as well as on your own
QUALIFICATIONS
Work efficiently on your own with minimal supervision from team leadership Great organizational skills Excellent communication skills Clear and legible penmanship Valid driver's license with an exceptional drivers record Ability to lift 65 pounds and use a ladder Prior experience in the fire industry is preferred but NOT required.
