This position provides a wide range of assistive services to promote patient flow, patient informational gathering and patient care in the clinical setting. The EMT, under the direction of the supervision of the Clinic Manager and under the direction of the provider and/or nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, or Paramedic. Assists in providing quality care directly and indirectly. The EMT performs skills described and regulated by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services via the authority of the Missouri Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services Systems Act (Chapter 190, Missouri Revised Statutes 190.010 -190.245). > Additional Information

  • Clinical skills-Venipuncture for collection of laboratory specimens. Capillary specimens.
  • Point of care testing. Interpersonal Skills
  • Effective verbal communications, good written skills, orientation to customer satisfaction and service/quality approach to the job Essential Physical Requirements
  • Requires standing, sitting, bending, and walking.
  • Must be able to perform CPR for a sustained period Essential Mental Abilities
