Patient Care Technician

Job Description

ONLY SERIOUS OFFERS
(this is a travel position) - start and stop at the Office each day either Raeford Office or Durham Office) This position will have training times in the Raeford Office.
Purpose of Position:
CNAs are to assist providers in the care of patients and the providing of foot care services. Duties will consist of a mix of administrative and medical to include cutting of toe nails.
Essential Duties:
  • Pack, prepare, and restock work utensils and supplies prior to the next day of service.
  • Work utensils must be sterilized each day using the autoclave machine. . Performs/assists with procedures according to organizational/departmental standards
  • Obtain facility list(s), blank forms and charts needed for the facilities to be serviced for each day.
  • Prepare work site for health care provider, to include; set up instruments and tools for procedures.
Please obtain Referral Forms on all patients in skilled nursing facilities (
Note:
not needed for Assisted Living facilities). In most facilities the Social Worker would be the person you would approach to obtain this referral.
  • Obtain vitals on each patient which can be gathered from the facility staff or through triage.
  • Charts and paperwork are to be turned into the main office and presented to the Office Assistant or Billing Department each business day.
  • Must abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations, especially as it pertains to confidential patient information.
  • Abide by company rules, policies and procedures.
  • Must abide by the rules set forth by each facility visited.
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

From $18.00 per hour
