Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented MedAide to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support patient care by assisting nursing staff and providing essential services to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. Your dedication will help ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of individuals requiring specialized care such as memory support or hospice services. Responsibilities Assist with daily patient care activities including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and hygiene assistance Support residents with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming, and feeding Document medical information accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Follow protocols for infection control and HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality Observe and report changes in residents' conditions, including symptoms related to dementia or Alzheimer's disease Support specialized care needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, and medication management Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care in assisted living or hospice environments Requirements Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and timely. Monitor residents for medication side effects and adverse reactions. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently; familiarity with Epic or Cerner is a plus Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to senior and memory care patients Certification as a MedAide or equivalent credential; valid license where applicable Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment Schedule Full-time / Part-time Day, Evening, Overnight, and Weekend shifts available Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve! Pay:
$8.00 - $12.00 per hour
