Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNA) and 2 per diem Unit Aides to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support patients with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas in compliance with infection control protocols. Help with patient transfers using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Document patient information thoroughly and accurately in medical records while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, especially for individuals with complex needs such as dementia or memory care requirements. Assist with medical procedures including basic catheter care, and medication administration under supervision. Requirements Valid certification as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or equivalent credential required. Prior experience working in long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or hospitals preferred, but will train the right candidate for unit aide Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and employ proper manual handling practices to prevent injury. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds, including geriatric patients and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Experience working with infectious diseases, dementia or Alzheimer's care, hospice services, or behavioral health settings is a plus. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict patient confidentiality at all times.
