We are excited to add Vascular to our growing list of specialties. Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Patient Care Technician to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Edison Office. The Patient Care Technician will support clinical staff by assisting with patient care before, during, and after procedures while helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized surgical environment. This role requires compassion, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills to ensure a positive patient experience. Paid time off, sick time, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, accident, and critical illness), life insurance, 401(k) with Company match, potential yearly bonus based on performance Job Title Duties (not limited to): Provide direct, hands-on assistance and support to patients throughout their visit under the supervision and direction of the Manager and nursing staff. Assist patients with their needs throughout the care process, helping ensure a positive, organized, and efficient patient experience. Serve as a point of contact for patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, follow-up care, and general questions. Assist nursing and clinical staff with patient care activities and other patient-related needs within the scope of the position. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, nursing staff, and other clinical team members to support continuity and coordination of care. Educate and reinforce instructions provided by clinical staff regarding treatment plans, post-visit instructions, follow-up appointments, and care expectations. Coordinate referrals, insurance authorizations, and communication with specialty offices as needed. Track patient care needs and follow-up items to help ensure patients receive timely services and appropriate follow-up. Provide front-desk and administrative support as needed, including assisting with patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, answering phones, and other office functions. Assist with maintaining an organized, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment. Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments to support patient satisfaction, workflow efficiency, quality of care, and departmental or organizational goals.Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required:
Previous experience in a healthcare or surgical center setting preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Requirements:
Ability to sit and type for prolonged periods with extended screen use requiring sustained visual focus and awareness of potential repetitive-motion strain (e.g., carpal tunnel).Benefits
