Qualifications Valid/Clean drivers license High School or equivalent Drug Screening Criminal Background Effective time management Must have flexible availability CPR certificate EMT-B certificate Lifting patients in stretcher and securing patient safety /should there be a family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle Responsible for passengers during the transport to and from medical/specialist appointments Follow assign schedules Flexibility for last minute schedule changes Complete all paperwork and hand in at the end of shift Perform all duties with the utmost professionalism Able to work on a team Attention to detail Must have good communication skills and in the event any incident occurs you must notify the dispatch in a timely manner React well under pressure Operate equipment in accordance with certification Provide patient care (examples are) comfort and reassure patients, oxygen administration, taking blood pressure and pulses, perform cpr, administering medical care within scope of practice Maintain clean and orderly vehicle and supplies in the ambulance Clean and disinfect equipment between patients Complying at all times with uniform policy and always looking and acting professional Understanding of federal medical necessity for ambulance transportation guidelines Rhythm Transportation is looking for dependable, self motivated drivers, friendly, skilled professionals who understand the importance of providing the best service to our patients and clients.
