Responsibilities Offer companionship and emotional support to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and those in assisted living or memory care settings Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Support medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure resident safety Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote healthy eating habits Conduct patient observation and monitor changes in health status, reporting concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Facilitate resident engagement through recreational activities, outings, and social interactions to enhance quality of life Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols such as

safety measures Skills Proven experience working with older adults in group home, assisted living, nursing home, or home health settings Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and resident's rights Ability to perform patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification Familiarity with care plans, patient transfer methods (including Hoyer lifts), manual handling, heavy lifting, and assisting with ADLs Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or developmental disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Join us in providing compassionate support that empowers seniors and individuals with disabilities to live comfortably and independently.
