1. Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing 2. Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights 3.
Assists patients with mobility:
ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities 4. Performs postmortem care 5. Performs EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring 6. Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN 7. Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory 8. Other related duties as assigned.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred:
BLS certification (required within 3 months of hire) Prior experience in an acute care setting Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written Patient, compassionate nature Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems
