Qualifications Valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification with current licensure in good standing. Proven experience in emergency medicine settings such as ambulance services or hospital emergency rooms. Critical care experience with exposure to trauma medicine, neonatal resuscitation procedures, pediatric emergency care, and Level I or Level II trauma center environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and trauma care protocols. Hands-on experience with airway management techniques, medication administration, venipuncture, DME (durable medical equipment), and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate emergency vehicles safely while navigating city streets efficiently under pressure. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to perform physical examinations accurately. Familiarity with incident command systems during large-scale emergencies or multi-casualty incidents. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking during shifts.
