DaVita is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment!

Some details about this position:

No prior Dialysis experience is required! Complete a full-time, fully paid training program for 10 weeks Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic Float to various clinics during and after your training You must be open to a flexible Full-Time variable/rotating ​schedule working 3-4 days/week, 10-12

• 14-hour shifts (alternating Saturdays)
• Sunday's off !

Flexible/open availability is required Comfortable working up to 15 hours per shift Early morning 4:30 / 5 AM availability is required Seasonal, Part Time, Short Term or Per Diem schedules are not available

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment Set up and maintain dialysis equipment Record vital signs and patient data Educate patients on treatment and kidney health Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements:

Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment Physically able to work long shifts on your feet Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Desire to work in a fast paced, high-energy clinic Enjoys working as a team

Computer/Technology/Mathematically Proficient Preferred:

CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

$66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year

New York Non-exempt:

New York City and Long Island:
