Pharmacy Technician / Full Time The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for supporting a safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services by assisting the pharmacist in medication preparation, dispensing, distribution, and inventory management. This role applies knowledge of pharmacy laws, professional standards, and technical procedures to serve patients of all ages while maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance. Through attention to detail, effective communication, and adherence to established policies, the position contributes to patient safety, operational efficiency, and the overall quality of pharmacy services. The Pharmacy Technician is an onsite position. Essential Functions A pplies appropriate pharmacy knowledge and skills to safely support patients of all ages while adhering to pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards under pharmacist supervision. Prepares and processes medications accurately by assisting with order entry, compounding, packaging, labeling, pre-packing, and dispensing activities in accordance with established procedures. Maintains accurate inventory control by receiving, checking, storing, ordering, and tracking drugs and supplies, including proper documentation for dangerous drugs. U tilizes pharmaceutical terminology, mathematics, weights and measures, symbols, and pharmacy equipment to perform technical pharmacy functions with precision and attention to detail. Transports and distributes medications and supplies to patient care areas by delivering orders, refilling automated dispensing machines, restocking floor stock and emergency carts, and retrieving returns as directed. Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety. Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
