Job Description
Patient Care Technicians provide direct assistance to care teams, supporting various aspects of clinical responsibilities and documentation. PCT's assist their teams in maintaining quality care in the facility. OB/GYN experience preferred but not required. Duties include Enter referrals, orders, prior authorizations as needed
- Ensure all care guidelines are completed as required within your scope of practice
- Assist with clinical tasks
- perform routine tasks under the supervision of nursing and provider staff
- Fax and scan documents for the care team
- perform in-house lab testing (i.e. Strep test, Flu test, UA's)
- assist with procedures as requested
- perform other duties as assigned
