Stretcher Transportation Location:

Oklahoma City, OK Unique Resource Management LLC DBA Unique Medical Transit LLC is seeking dependable, professional, and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide non-emergency stretcher transportation for Veterans throughout the Oklahoma City area. EMTs will be responsible for safely transporting Veterans to and from medical appointments, VA facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare locations. This position requires excellent patient care, safe stretcher operation, professional communication, and a strong commitment to serving Veterans with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities include:

Safely transport stretcher-bound Veterans to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities Assist with loading, unloading, transferring, and securing patients Monitor patients during transport and recognize changes in condition Maintain communication with dispatch and medical facility personnel Complete required trip documentation and patient transport records Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles and equipment Follow HIPAA, infection control, patient safety, and company policies Respond appropriately to emergencies within EMT scope of practice Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate service at all times

Qualifications:

Current EMT certification/license acceptable for practice in Oklahoma Current BLS/CPR certification Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to pass background screening and drug testing Ability to safely lift, move, push, and assist with stretcher patients Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Previous EMS, ambulance, stretcher transport, NEMT, or Veteran transportation experience preferred

Schedule:

Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities may be available. Work may include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on transportation needs.
