Full-Time Overview:
Safety Onsite Services is hiring a Field Health & Safety Technician to perform on-site occupational health screenings at our client locations. You'll conduct audiometric testing, respirator fit testing, respiratory function tests, and vision screening. This is a travel-based position (up to 26 weeks/year), ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for workforce safety.
What You'll Do:
Conduct hearing tests using mobile audiometric equipment Administer respirator fit testing (qualitative/quantitative) Perform pulmonary function testing (spirometry) Conduct vision screenings Travel to client locations (lodging and expenses covered) Lift and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs) Communicate results and procedures to clients clearly and professionally Maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Willing and able to travel up to 26 weeks per year Physically able to lift 50 lbs Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable with basic computer use and data entry
