Registered Ultrasound/Echo Technician

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education- Incumbent must have successfully completed a post-high school sonography program. Experience
- A minimum one year (1) of relevant work experience preferred. Must be able to proficiently and competently perform general sonography exams as well as echocardiograms. Licenses & Certification
- ARRT (preferred), Must be registered in one of the following RDMS, RVT, RDCS and/or RCS, must be competent to perform both general diagnostic ultrasound exams as well as diagnostic cardiac echocardiograms. Must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Ultrasound Physics Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, cardiac anatomy, and pathology Knowledge of methods, techniques, and quality control required for processing digital images with optimal results.
