This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in fast-paced environments, including emergency scenes, hospitals, and trauma centers, delivering essential pre-hospital care with professionalism and dedication. As an EMT, you will be at the forefront of emergency medicine, ensuring patients receive timely, effective treatment while maintaining safety and comfort. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing immediate medical assistance at the scene of accidents, medical emergencies, or disasters. Assess patient conditions through thorough patient assessment techniques, including vital signs measurement and physical examinations. Manage airway obstructions and perform airway management procedures to ensure proper breathing. Administer basic life support (BLS), medication administration, injections, and other critical interventions following established protocols. Operate emergency vehicles safely, demonstrating strong driving skills and heavy lifting capabilities to transport patients securely. Collaborate with hospital staff during critical care transport, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care reports, incident logs, and medical records adhering to aseptic techniques and medical terminology standards. Skills Proven EMT experience with a solid understanding of emergency medicine principles and physiology knowledge. Experience working in hospital settings or Level I Trauma Centers with exposure to triage procedures and critical care environments. Strong patient care skills with expertise in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and anatomy knowledge. Proficiency in airway management, venipuncture, injection administration, and medication protocols. Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) use and infection control practices such as aseptic technique. Ability to perform physical examinations accurately while demonstrating excellent communication skills using clear medical terminology. Capable of handling high-pressure situations involving urgent care scenarios or emergency room experience; physically able to lift heavy loads when necessary.
