Job Description

Job Title:
Firefighter/Paramedic Hiring Recruit and/ or trained Firefighter EMT or Paramedic. No training is required, we will train you. For applicants with training, bonus points on the civil service exam will be awarded for verified training certifications. Pay is structured off of training level. As a Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be at the forefront of emergency response, providing critical care and firefighting services to our community. Your role is vital in saving lives and protecting property during emergencies. You will work alongside a dedicated team, responding to calls, administering first aid, and ensuring the safety of those in need. What you'll do Respond swiftly to emergency calls for fire and medical assistance. Administer first aid, basic life support, and advanced medical care as needed. Operate fire suppression equipment and respond to fire incidents with precision. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' vital signs and medical conditions. Drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently to various locations. Perform mechanical maintenance on firefighting equipment and vehicles. Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks during rescue operations. Participate in community education programs on fire safety and emergency preparedness. Basic qualifications 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Valid Drivers License Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
