Rotating Responsibilities:
Provide advanced patient care under RN direction, including ADLs, procedures, therapies, and patient monitoring Perform all core PCT competencies, including vital signs, point-of-care testing, telemetry, specimen collection, EKGs, bladder scans, dressings, catheter removal, and restraint application per protocol Assist with unit and patient needs (e.g., responding to call lights, meal delivery, patient transport, and monitoring), including transport of cardiac monitored patients Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment while following infection control and safety protocols Monitor patients and report changes in condition or equipment issues promptly Document care accurately and complete clerical functions as needed Support unit operations and quality initiatives, including participation in projects and department activities Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to support coordinated care Demonstrate professionalism by building positive relationships, taking ownership of assignments, and supporting team performance and improvement efforts Provide patient and family education under RN direction and respond to emergent situations as appropriate
