Job Description
J.T. Mummert Consulting, LLC is looking for a part-time Behavior Health Technician for our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Program, for 20+ hours per week for the Lock Haven/Williamsport area. Starting Wages for Behavior Health Technician for I BHS is $20.00 per billable hour. The BHT works with children, youth, and young adults in the implementation of their individual treatment plan under the direction of a Behavior Consultant. The Behavior Health Technician is responsible for the following tasks: Provide behavioral support to individuals with behavioral health disorders and challenging behaviors. Implement behavioral interventions as written in the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) and as directed by the Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapist. Monitor and document client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions. Report observations and collaborate with the treatment team for adjustment to treatment plans, as needed. Collect data as directed by the Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapists. Document service delivery using the company's time tracking system and service notes. Collaborate with team members to de-escalate challenging situations using the ITP to ensure the safety of clients and team members. Work closely with licensed clinicians, nurses, teachers, and families as directed by the Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapists. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a coodrianted and comprehensive approach to client care. Offer emotional support and encouragement to individuals undergoing treatment. Support team members in skill transfer through demonstrating interventions, reinforcing team member use of interventions, and fading as progress occurs. Maintain professional and clinical boudnaries with team members. Submit service documentation as required according to company policies and procedures. Report to assigned locations as scheduled. Fulfill client hours as assigned.
