Job Description

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Confidential Health-Tech /
Telehealth Company Location:
Remote /
United StatesPosition:
Full-Time Executive Leadership About the Opportunity A rapidly growing health-tech company focused on health, wellness, and longevity is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead its next stage of growth. We are building a technology-driven healthcare platform designed to make personalized wellness more accessible, convenient, and consumer-friendly. The company operates at the intersection of telehealth, personalized healthcare, technology, e-commerce, and consumer wellness. We are looking for more than a traditional marketing executive. The ideal candidate is an AI-native, data-driven growth leader who understands how consumers are changing the way they discover healthcare brands—through Google, social platforms, creators, and increasingly through AI platforms and answer engines. Key Responsibilities The CMO will own the company's overall marketing strategy, brand growth, customer acquisition, and digital visibility.
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute the company's national marketing and growth strategy.
  • Build an aggressive SEO and organic search strategy designed to establish long-term authority in health, wellness, longevity, telehealth, and related categories.
  • Lead AI-search optimization, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), to increase brand visibility across emerging AI-driven search and discovery platforms.
  • Develop systems that improve the likelihood that the company's content, expertise, and digital properties are discovered and referenced by AI platforms.
  • Use AI extensively for marketing research, content development, personalization, campaign optimization, competitive intelligence, analytics, and automation.
  • Lead paid acquisition across Google, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop content strategies across website, social media, video, email, PR, and educational channels.
  • Build scalable customer acquisition funnels and lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Oversee influencer, creator, affiliate, partnership, and ambassador strategies.
  • Improve conversion rates throughout the customer journey, from initial discovery through acquisition and retention.
  • Establish clear attribution and reporting for CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, organic traffic, AI visibility, customer lifetime value, and revenue generated from marketing.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage the company's marketing technology and AI stack.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, operations, clinical/compliance teams, technology partners, and outside agencies.
  • Build and lead a high-performance internal and external marketing team as the company scales.
AI & Search Expertise This is a critical component of the position. Candidates should have significant hands-on knowledge of: Artificial IntelligenceGenerative AI, AI marketing automation, AI-assisted content creation, predictive analytics, personalization, workflow automation, competitive research, and emerging AI marketing technologies. SEOTechnical SEO, content SEO, keyword strategy, backlink/authority development, structured data, site architecture, programmatic SEO, analytics, and conversion optimization. AI Search / GEO / AEOA strong understanding of how discovery is evolving beyond traditional Google search and how brands can build authority and visibility across AI-powered search and answer platforms. We are particularly interested in candidates who are already experimenting with emerging AI-search strategies rather than waiting for the industry to define them. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience with significant leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success scaling a consumer-facing digital brand.
  • Strong experience in health-tech, telehealth, healthcare, wellness, e-commerce, subscription businesses, or another highly regulated consumer category.
  • Proven success generating measurable revenue through digital marketing.
  • Advanced understanding of SEO and organic customer acquisition.
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of AI within marketing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of paid digital acquisition and performance marketing.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM, attribution, analytics, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, creators, and internal marketing teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
What We're Looking For We want a builder, not simply a manager. The right candidate should be equally comfortable developing a three-year brand strategy and sitting down with the team to determine why a landing page isn't converting. You should be obsessed with understanding where consumer discovery is going next. You should understand that the future of digital marketing will involve both traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery—and know how to position a company to succeed in both. Most importantly, you should be able to connect marketing activity directly to customer acquisition, retention, revenue, and enterprise value. Why This Opportunity This is an opportunity to join an emerging health-tech company at an important stage of its growth. The CMO will work directly with executive leadership and have significant influence over brand strategy, technology, customer acquisition, partnerships, and the company's national growth strategy. For the right executive, this is an opportunity to build the marketing engine rather than inherit one. Company identity and additional information will be provided to qualified candidates during the interview process.
