Job Description

EMT-B - Ground Operations Please apply ONLY if you currently possess a valid Driver License, an EMT License, and a BLS Certificate. Join the Emergent Air Ground Team! Emergent Air is a locally owned and operated air ground ambulance company offering competitive pay, paid benefits, PTO, and progressive patient care guidelines. We are hiring Full-time and PRN EMT-Bs in Alpine, Texas.
Position Summary:
The EMT provides emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Emergent Air policies. Ground Operations primarily support our air medical team through patient transport, coordinated care, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate an emergency medical vehicle Provide basic life support and emergency medical care Lift, carry, and transport patients safely Communicate with medical staff and coordinate patient handoff Maintain equipment, vehicle readiness, and supplies Follow all company protocols, safety standards, and procedures Complete reports and communicate effectively with team members
Minimum Requirements:
Valid state driver's license EMT certification BLS certification Strong communication and documentation skills
Driving Eligibility:
Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this role and insurance requirements, candidates must meet driver insurance eligibility standards to operate company vehicles. Applicants must be at least 23 years of age to qualify for ambulance driving authorization.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
