Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to nursing staff Support medication administration and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols Document care plans, patient observations, and incident reports accurately in accordance with facility policies Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques, medication administration, CPR/First Aid certification, and vital signs measurement Experience assisting with ADLs and using patient transfer equipment like Hoyer lifts or other manual handling tools Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Understanding of resident's rights, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks required for patient transfer or mobility assistance Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference.
