Job Description

Methodist Health System seeks a PRN clinical professional to provide as-needed patient care support across our Dallas-area facilities. In this flexible, part-time role, you'll deliver safe, compassionate care, perform assessments and treatments within your scope, and document in the EMR while collaborating with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff. Responsibilities Provide PRN clinical support in assigned unit, delivering safe, compassionate patient care aligned with Methodist Health System protocols Perform patient assessments, document findings, and assist with care plans under direction of licensed providers Administer treatments and procedures per scope and policy, ensuring accurate medication and supply handling Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and support discharge and follow-up processes as needed Maintain regulatory, infection prevention, and safety standards while upholding faith-based, mission-driven values Required Skills Patient assessment and monitoring Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Clinical procedures within scope of practice Medication administration and safety Infection prevention and control Vital sign measurement and interpretation Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams Basic life support and emergency response Patient and family communication Time management in fast-paced clinical settings
