Days, FT Job Summary As a Patient Care Technician 2, you'll support nurses and provide top-notch care to patients. You'll assist with basic patient care and medical terms. Primarily, you'll provide direct patient care, assist with hygiene, and help with dietary needs. Your tasks will vary by area or shift. You may also handle medication management. Essential Functions of the Role Adhering to the policies and procedures set by the organization. Providing direct technical care to patients. Assisting patients with their personal hygiene and dietary requirements. Your duties may vary by area or shift. You might manage medications. Key Success Factors Demonstrate empathy and dedication in patient care, as the role requires a high level of physical and emotional engagement. Express thoughts and ideas effectively with both patients and colleagues, whether through spoken or written mediums. Maintain an uplifting spirit to positively influence patient health and morale. Foster an environment of cooperation and mutual respect by working closely with fellow healthcare practitioners. The applicant should have less than one year of professional experience. The candidate needs BLS certification or can get it within 30 days of hire.
