Temple, TX•
Baylor Scott and White Health Schedule:
Full-time Days Opportunities available in: Med/Surg, Neuro, Telemetry, Observation, and Oncology. Job Summary The Patient Care Technician handles various duties under a licensed nurse's supervision. Helps deliver patient care and meet family needs. Follows the care plan, considering the patient's age and development stage. What can you expect to do as a Patient Care Tech? Collects and records patient data, including vital signs. Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs). Responds to call lights and conducts regular patient rounds. Provides personal hygiene care and assists with patient clean-up. Adheres to Baylor Scott & White policies and procedures. Performs glucose monitoring and collects specimens as requested. Will be required to directly support multiple patients during each shift. What will make you successful as a PCT?

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION

S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
  • Less than 1 Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
