Responsibilities Prepare patients for TMS therapy sessions by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety. Set up and calibrate TMS devices according to prescribed treatment protocols, including adjusting coil placement and stimulation parameters. Monitor patients throughout treatment sessions, observing for any adverse reactions or discomfort, and respond promptly to their needs. Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including treatment details, patient responses, and any incidents or observations. Follow strict safety protocols to ensure proper device operation and prevent any potential hazards during therapy. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans and report any concerns or anomalies observed during treatments. Keep the treatment area clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations. Skills Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, or related healthcare fields preferred. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and provide reassurance to patients. Ability to operate complex medical equipment with precision and attention to detail. Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and safety. Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems or similar documentation tools. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with magnetic stimulation devices or neurostimulation therapies is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
